 'Healers 2006' is a national organisation that began as a group from Skegness U3A. Part of 'Our Philosophy' is to remember that Peace begins with each of us. We are all like rippling water where the ripples join others and thus we try to bring peace into the world. We treat people 'wholistically' by treating the whole person using other healing therapies, including nutrition, Chinese medicine, herbs and aromatherapy if necessary. Most members are fully qualified complementary therapists though no one has to be a therapist to join us. We keep our subscriptions to the very minimum. There are many 'Distant Learning' Courses explained in detail on our web site including herbal medicine, Chinese medicine and Holistic Healing. All include a practical element. | Lancashire and District Healing Association | ||||
| The Lancashire & District Healing Association was formed in the seaside resort of Southport in the early 1950s by Mrs Winnie Lord to enable like-minded people to offer their healing and spiritual gifts to mankind, but without the dogma of religion. The LDHA uses nothing other than the spiritual power of loving and caring. The LDHA is a non-religious, non-profit making, multi-denominational organization of spiritual healers, who offer their services as a therapy – complimentary to medical practice. It is healing through the power of love, spiritual help, and is simple and non-invasive. |

The SHA, founded in 1959, is a registered charity with its own constitution. It is interdenominational in its work of advancing spiritual healing for the common good.
